Neverland 05:35
We, we are the blessed The over educated outdoor enthusiasts So come the offer extendeds Settle down and make a home with all your friends We could light fires every night Find a decent canyon nearby to go fly a kite No need to give it up Such a wonderful place to become stuck In neverland like quicksand We all have places to be But not before we get in a few years of ecstasy So forget your closet dwelling Head out west for something more compelling We could have a picnic by the lake I'll drink a box of wine and feed ya cheese and grapes No need to give it up Such a wonderful place to become stuck In neverland like quicksand

Out where the sun is a little brighter, Where the snows that fall are a trifle whiter, Where the bonds of home are a wee bit tighter, That's where the West begins. Out where the skies are a trifle bluer, Out where the friendship's a little truer, That's where the West begins; Out where a fresher breeze is blowing, Where there's laughter in every streamlet flowing, Where there's more of reaping and less of sowing, That's where the West begins. Out where the world is in the making, Where fewer hearts in despair are aching, That's where the West begins. Where there's more of singing and less of sighing, Where there's more of giving and less of buying, Where a man makes a friend without half trying, That's where the West begins. -Arthur Chapman

Osprey Eyes 04:27
we fly around up and down the canyon we move with the wind round the winding river bend we sound our song high above the roaring waves we move with the wind round the winding river bend casting our shadows our nets in the shallows our yellow eyes are sharp and narrow we flap our feathers never say never our kind are kind of clever we move with the wind round the winding river bend

"It Couldn't Be Done" - Edgar Albert Guest Somebody said that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it! Somebody scoffed: “Oh, you’ll never do that; At least no one ever has done it;” But he took off his coat and he took off his hat And the first thing we knew he’d begun it. With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it. There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done, There are thousands to prophesy failure, There are thousands to point out to you one by one, The dangers that wait to assail you. But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, Just take off your coat and go to it; Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing That “cannot be done,” and you’ll do it.

Don't Quit 05:06
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When the funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out; Don't give up though the pace seems slow-- You may succeed with another blow. When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don't you quit. Often the struggler has given up, When he might have captured the victor's cup, And he learned too late when the night slipped down, How close he was to the golden crown. When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest, if you must, but don't you quit. And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far, So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-- It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

Midsummer 05:39
"MIDSUMMER" You loved me for a little, You couldn't love me for long; You gave me wings of gladness And lent my spirit song. You loved me for an hour But only with your eyes; Your lips I could not capture By storm or by surprise. Your mouth that I remember With a rush of sudden pain as one remembers starlight Or roses after rain. . . Out of a world of laughter Suddenly I'm sad. . . Day and night it haunts me, The kiss I never had. -Sydney King Russell

"All Paths Lead to You" - Blanche Shoemaker Wagstaff All paths lead to you Where e'er I stray, you are the evening star At the end of the day. All paths lead to you Hill-top or low, you are the white birch In the sun's [orange] glow. All paths lead to you Where e'er I stray, you are the evening star At the end of the day. All paths lead to you Where e'er I roam You are the [love] song Calling me home!
